About folk re-imagined
folk re-imagined is a project devoted to setting folk music traditions in a modern context. Using the combination of electronics + trombone + violin, the program include samples and arrangements of vintage American radio, the Brazilian Bossa-Nova, Nebraskan cattle auctioneers, the Argentine Tango, and Eastern European folk dances.
The project has been featured in series across the U.S., in Europe, and in South America.
